[ARCHIVED] Main Street Closure Temporarily Reconfigured

UPDATE: February 22, 2019

Due to the incoming weather, the Main Street road closure that began last Tuesday will be temporarily reconfigured starting today (Friday, February 22). The Northbound Lane of Main Street between 2nd & 3rd Street will be reopened to traffic and will remain open until Monday, March 4th. The Southbound lane will stay closed throughout next week.

Starting Monday, March 4th the full road closure is scheduled to be reinstated and will remain in effect for 2 weeks. It is scheduled to be reopened to traffic on March 18th.


UPDATE: February 19, 2019

A planned Main Street closure has been scheduled to begin on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at approximately 6AM. Granite Construction Company will be closing Main Street between Third Street and the intersection at Second Street and Main Street. Additionally, the section of Second Street between Main Street and Brown Street will be closed. The road closure is necessary in order to facilitate the installation of infrastructure improvements associated with the Main Street Streetscape Project and shall remain in place during the next 3 weeks. Vehicles wishing to travel north and south by way of the closed section of  Main Street and those wishing to travel on Second Street between Main Street and Brown Street shall be rerouted around the closure by way of Coombs Street.
