[ARCHIVED] Napa Lights the Valley returns once again this Independence Day!

Napa Lights the Valley 2019 Flier

Napa Lights the Valley returns once again this Independence Day! Festivities commence at 10 a.m. with the Sunrise Rotary Fourth of July Parade. The parade route will head down 2nd and 3rd Streets, passing in front of a grandstand and performance area.

Starting at 5 PM, the fun continues with a family-friendly festival in Oxbow Commons Park, featuring free live music, festival food, and the ever-popular Kids Zone offering free carnival games, arts and crafts, magic shows, and other family activities, until 8 PM. Sample a variety of cuisine as you stroll down McKinstry Street where a wide selection of food, beer, and, of course, plenty of Napa Valley’s world-famous wine will be featured. Music on the Main Stage kicks off at 5 PM and continues right up to the fireworks show at 9:30 PM.

If you drive to the festival there’s plenty of parking available at the City Lot on Pearl and West Streets, in the downtown garages and on-street parking. Due to the increased traffic, festival-goers are encouraged to leave their vehicles at home and bike to the celebration. The Napa County Bicycle Coalition will be offering free valet bicycle parking for those who opt to pedal their way to the party.

Whether you arrive on two wheels or four, Oxbow Commons, First Street Bridge, Veteran’s Park, or the Riverfront Green Park will be the places to be as darkness falls. These locations are the best viewing sites for the fireworks extravaganza that brings the day to a noisy, awesome end.

Please note: Due to the noise and large crowds, only service animals will be allowed at the event.

6 PM – Fito Reinoso (Cuban music)

7 PM – Salute to the USA
