The City will begin work on the restoration of three water lines (freeway crossings) that were damaged during the earthquake in 2014. The freeway crossings are located at multiple locations along Highway 29 at Old Sonoma Road, Pine Street and Laurel/Kilburn Streets.
The City’s contractor is scheduled to start with the freeway crossing located at Old Sonoma Road during the week of July 3, 2019. Construction will continue throughout the summer as each crossing is restored.
This work will require intermittent traffic control setup and minor detours in isolated neighborhoods. Residents in the immediate vicinity of each crossing will receive specific notifications as construction progresses.
