[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Review and Comment: Draft Countywide Water and Wastewater Municipal Service Review

LAFCO

The Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) of Napa County has issued a draft report on its Countywide Water and Wastewater Municipal Service Review (MSR). The draft report represents LAFCO’s independent evaluation of the availability and adequacy of municipal services provided by the 14 local government agencies that provide potable water, recycled water, and/or wastewater services in Napa County. This includes making determinations on a series of factors as required under State law that include infrastructure capacities, financial ability to provide services, and alternative service delivery options. LAFCO will use the MSR to inform its decision-making as it relates to fulfilling its planning and regulatory responsibilities in facilitating orderly growth and efficiency of service provision.

The draft report is available to the general public for review on LAFCO’s website here. LAFCO invites any interested member of the public to submit written comments on the draft report through July 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Written comments on the draft report will be incorporated into a final report that will be adopted as part of a future public meeting. Written comments should be submitted by email to Jennifer Stephenson at [email protected].

The draft report will be presented at a virtual workshop on July 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the workshop and provide verbal testimony. The workshop will be conducted as a teleconference meeting and can be accessed online at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87121990067 or by telephone by dialing (669)900-6833 and entering 87121990067# when prompted.
