[ARCHIVED] You’re Invited! Napa Main Street Boat Dock welcomes you to Community Day

Main Street Boat Dock

The City of Napa is excited to host a Community Day on Saturday, March 3, at the Main Street Boat Dock, in partnership with Tideline Marine Group. This event is one of many planned this year, as we begin to provide recreational opportunities and transportation along the beautiful Napa River for residents and visitors. This private-partnership with Tideline Marine Group will help increase the utilization of this public facility as well as provide maritime expertise and oversight of the boat dock. The Napa River is a vital community resource, and it is so important to promote the stewardship of this important connection to the greater San Francisco Bay ecosystem.

On Saturday, March 3, come and check out some of the new offerings that will soon be available at the boat dock, including kayak and stand up paddle board demos! From 12pm – 3pm, visit Enjoy Napa Valley and Napa Valley Paddle at the Rotunda Area above the boat dock, and sign up for small group kayak and paddle board demos. Try some Alpha Omega wine and Morimoto’s Hamachi Tacos, while you visit with Gondola Servitizio – the new gondola service!

Starting in March, all these recreational services will be available at the dock on weekends and they will expand to daily services during the summer as demand increases. Working with Tideline will help support partnerships with other local and Bay Area businesses to continually expand programs and services for the community.
