[ARCHIVED] Information on Hennessey & Gamble Fires, Shelter Location and Mental Health Resources

We have a wonderful community, Napa! With so much going on at the moment, we are already seeing that #NapaStrong attitude coming out! Here are a few things for you to know:

We know so many of you are ready to help in many ways. Once more information is available, and should the need arise for things like volunteers or donations, we will be sure to let you know. Stay tuned here and to Napa County, California - Government for more information. 

For information related to the Hennessey and Gamble Fires, which are currently in Napa County and not affecting City limits, CALFIRE has opened a public information line at (707) 967-4207, and incident updates can be found at: https://twitter.com/CAL_FIRE or https://www.fire.ca.gov/incidents/2020/8/17/hennessey-fire-lnu-lightning-complex/.

For those affected by evacuations, a shelter location is at Crosswalk Community Church in Napa, 2590 First St., Napa CA 94559. Individuals who are seeking shelter are reminded to bring a face covering, practice good hygiene habits and adhere to physical distancing. The shelter will be open only to individuals who are impacted by the fire evacuations and an address verification will be in place.
