We have some good news to share, Napa! Due to the hard work by our Parks crews, we now plan to open our playgrounds tomorrow – Friday, September 25th! Our crews have been working diligently to remove the ash and dust from our playground equipment, so that we could open the playgrounds up as soon as possible – but remember, we must all follow social distancing and good hygiene protocol!
When visiting our playgrounds, please:
• SANTIZE OR WASH YOUR HANDS: Bring your hand sanitizer to use before, during, and after play. Our restrooms are also opened to allow for frequent hand washing.
• WEAR A MASK: Wear your face coverings when other households are present, and parents/guardians should distance themselves by 6-feet from other adults.
• KEEP YOUR DISTANCE: Most importantly, please maintain distance with other park users. When you arrive, and it appears that there is not enough room to keep enough distance between you and other park users, please wait your turn or come back later. If you notice a group of families waiting their turn, please be gracious and limit your time at high use playgrounds to allow others a chance to play!
Please note that equipment will not be sanitized, as this is impractical to do for all 33 of our playgrounds. Also, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised spraying disinfectant on playground equipment in parks is not believed to be an efficient use of disinfectant supplies and has not been proven to reduce the risk of COVID-19 to the public. Good hygiene practices are an area of personal responsibility, and we are confident our families will use the playgrounds safely.
¡Tenemos buenas noticias que compartir, Napa! Debido al arduo trabajo de nuestros equipos de Parques, ahora planeamos abrir nuestros parques infantiles mañana – Viernes 25 de Septiembre! Nuestros personal han estado trabajando diligentemente para eliminar la ceniza y el polvo de nuestro equipo de patio de recreo, para que podamos abrir los patios de recreo tan pronto como sea posible, ¡pero recuerde, todos debemos seguir el distanciamiento social y el buen protocolo de higiene!
Al visitar nuestros parques infantiles, por favor:
• SANTIZE O LAVEN SUS MANOS: Lleve su desinfectante de manos para usar antes, durante y después de jugar. Nuestros baños también están abiertos para permitir el lavado de manos frecuente.
• USAR SU MASACARA: Use sus cubiertas faciales cuando otros hogares estén presentes, y los padres/guardians deben distanciarse 6 pies de otros adultos.
• MANTENGA SU DISTANCIA: Lo más importante, por favor mantenga la distancia con otros usuarios del parque. Cuando llegue, y parece que no hay suficiente espacio para mantener suficiente distancia entre usted y otros usuarios del parque, por favor espere su turno o regrese más tarde. Si usted nota a un grupo de familias esperando su turno, por favor sea amable y limite su tiempo en los patios de recreo de alto uso para permitir que otros una oportunidad de jugar!
