On Saturday, May 12 from 10 am to 2 pm, the City of Napa opens the gates to its state-of-the-art Edward I. Barwick Jamieson Canyon Water Treatment Plant at 270 Kirkland Ranch Road, just off Highway 12. At this first annual “Tap Water Day” Open House, the community is invited to see the equipment, processes, and people that convert raw water from the Sacramento River Delta into clean, safe drinking water for several Napa Valley cities. Tours of the facility will start every twenty minutes, including an up close look at the laboratory and advanced control system. Learn more about the event and all the fun activities planned here!
