[ARCHIVED] Linda Vista Avenue Bridge Project

CityNapa_MARK_color

The City of Napa would like to announce that there will be an agenda item at the next City Council Meeting regarding the proposed Linda Vista Bridge Over Napa Creek Project. The City Council Meeting will be held at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the City Hall Council Chambers, 955 School Street, Napa, California.

At a prior City Council Meeting, the community and City Council were presented three road/bridge alignment options developed from an engineering study and input from community meetings. The result was a motion selecting the preferred option of the three with direction to City staff to return to Council at a future date with an informational update on the project as it relates to the Citywide Travel Demand Model. The preferred alignment was determined to be advantageous because it has the greatest potential for slowing vehicle traffic, will require the least overall right-of-way acquisition area, and will require the least number of trees to be removed.

The purpose of this item on the June 5th City Council Agenda is an informational update on the Citywide Travel Demand Model, including information related to Fire Department travel times and to provide direction as to the future of the project. All interested parties are welcome to attend. If you have any questions or comments, please contact the City of Napa Public Works Department, (707) 257-9520, or [email protected]g.

You can view the full staff report, images and attachments here. Please come to the City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 5, to hear more about the project!
