[ARCHIVED] Heat Advisory This Weekend

As temperatures are expected to rise this weekend, the National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a Red Flag Warning for the North Bay Mountains from 11 am Saturday to 8pm Sunday.  In this extreme weather, we want all of you to be safe and informed: 

•Drink plenty of fluids 

•stay in an air-conditioned room 

•stay out of the sun, limit outdoor activity 

•wear light colored, loose-fitting clothing 

•check in on relatives and neighbors, especially those who are more vulnerable to the heat 

•make sure your check on pets and animals 

The hot weather also means an increased risk of wildfires. A reminder, PG&E has a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) in place for high-risk areas. For more information about wildfire preparedness visit: PG&E's Community Wildfire Safety web site.
