Residents will not have to wait long to see the fruits of Measure T, Napa County’s new half-cent sales tax that went into effect on July 1 of this year.

This week, long-anticipated work begins on Trower Avenue, starting between Dry Creek Road and Linda Vista Avenue and between Jefferson Street and Highway 29.

From Dry Creek Road to Linda Vista Ave, the work will consist of curb, gutter and sidewalk repairs, as well as tree removal and replacement. From Hwy 29 to Jefferson St, the work will consist of cold in-place recycling of existing pavement, hot-mix asphalt overlay, in addition to streetlight and sidewalk improvements.

This work is expected to be completed by December 1, 2018.

During this work, motorists and cyclists can expect crews working in the area between 7am and 5pm on weekdays, except holidays, and any lane closures will be limited to 9am and 6pm during school hours.
