Last week, our community lost one of our own.
Alaina Housley, 18, was one of the victims of the senseless shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks. A Vintage High graduate, and current Pepperdine University freshman, Alaina had so much promise before her.
As Alaina’s memory is honored today, we, the City of Napa, would like to offer our condolences to her family, her friends, and anyone else whose life was touched by Alaina. All who knew her loved her as she clearly brought joy to so many. We hope for strength and healing, and know that this community will wrap their arms around the Housley family.
We also offer our condolences to the families and friends of the other 11 victims of the Thousand Oaks shooting and keep them all in our thoughts.
