This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. GPAC Meeting Rescheduled!

The next GPAC Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2020. The agenda is likely to include the Focus Areas Urban Design Strategies and the draft Land Use Plan. More information will be forthcoming. Save the date and location:

General Plan Update - Behind The Scenes

Draft Land Use Plan - UPDATE!

Planning Staff worked through the holiday-shortened week to compile initial comments on the Admin Draft of the Land Use Plan and forwarded them to the Consultant Team on Friday afternoon. Staff will be coordinating with the Consultant Team on Monday afternoon to address comments as we work towards the February 24 GPAC meeting.

Detailed Project Schedule

Final adjustments are being made to the detailed project schedule. Once this schedule is finalized, we will be able to establish review timelines of General Plan Elements, upcoming GPAC meeting dates and outreach activities through 2020.
