Welcome to the GPAC Quick Hits Newsletter!

This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

ADU Center Opening Soon!

Job Opportunity - Center Director

The Napa Sonoma ADU Center (ADU "One-Stop Shop) is opening soon and is searching for a ADU Center Director! This position offers the chance to develop the Center from the ground up, developing a range of nonprofit, government, and private sector partnerships to increase the number of ADUs built in the North Bay!

General Plan Update - Behind The Scenes

Housing Workshop - Save the Date!

A Housing Workshop has been tentatively scheduled for Monday, March 30. Stay tuned for more details!


Community Survey Draft

Planning Staff will be reviewing a draft of the Community Survey next week, including Spanish translation. More details to come.


Kennedy Park Information

Planning Staff forwarded information to the GPAC this week regarding the potential conversion of Kennedy Park for Housing. The document contained history of the dedication of Kennedy Park as well as necessary steps prior to any conversion of the land for other uses.


Upcoming GPAC Meeting(s)

Prior to the launch of the Community Survey and Public Outreach, Planning Staff is researching dates and logistics for another GPAC meeting to discuss the Draft Land Use Plan and Outreach strategies.
