GPAC Chair Chuck Shinnamon shares the following:

"Via the Strong Towns weekly email, I found the website for a land planning firm out of Coral Gables, Florida. Dover Kohl focuses on urban planning and they work for both local governments as well as private developers. What I have found fascinating is their YouTube set of videos that discuss the key elements of town planning. There are thirteen or so short videos entitled, “Town Planning Stuff Everyone Needs to Know”, each about 3 minutes long. They are excellent. Below is a link to their YouTube listing; you will have to dig just a touch to find all of the specific town planning videos as they have other videos in the collection. They are numbered 1 through 13 with issues related to street trees, mixed use, street-oriented architecture, etc.

Included, as well, is a long video (1+ hour) entitled, “CONNECT THE DOTS: Housing, Transportation, Economy, Environment”. I found it to be excellent, as well.
