GPAC Quick Hits Newsletter

This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

ICYMI: Planning Commission Recap

The Planning Commission reviewed the Draft Land Use Plan at their meeting on Thursday, September 17. After receiving a report from the Consultant Team and Staff and hearing public comment, the Commission provided direction to Staff on additional information needed for the Commission to complete their considerations. The item was continued until the November 5 Planning Commission Meeting.

Strategies for Healthier Cities

Join representatives from the City of Napa along with the Cities of Riverside, CA, Grand Rapids, MI, and Missoula, MT for a series of informational workshops on Accessory Dwelling Units and their role in providing equitable housing options. These free 2 hour workshops are spread over 5 days from October 5 through 15.

By modifying services, using social distancing and offering assistance and service over the phone, we can do our part to minimize COVID-19 exposure to City staff and the public.
