GPAC Quick Hits Newsletter

This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

The City of Napa is updating the City’s Hazard Mitigation Plan and we need community involvement and input on the plan. There will be 3-4 meetings between now and March 2021 in which you will learn about FEMA’s hazard mitigation program, prevalent hazards throughout the County and City, and steps that the City can take to reduce potential damage and injury in the event of a wildfire, flood, earthquake, and other natural hazards. If you are interested in getting involved in this effort, email Erin Morris to be added to the project email list.

City Offices Closed - Staff Still At Work

All public counters in Napa City offices are closed to the public, and open only on a by-appointment basis. By modifying services, using social distancing and offering assistance and service over the phone, we can do our part to minimize COVID-19 exposure to City staff and the public.
