City of Napa Truck Parade

Tuesday, November 24th Starting @ 10 AM

Fire trucks, Police cars, Public Works trucks, buses, garbage trucks and more will be parading through Napa's neighborhoods. You'll get to see the equipment that helps us to get the things done for you as a City Team! Stay in touch through Facebook. The parade will be about 1 1/2 hours long. Holiday Meal-Drive Thru

December 17th 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Come by the Senior Center grab a Holiday lunch! A pre-plated to go lunch will be provided through your car window for you to take home and enjoy.

This is a drive-thru event. Please do not get out of your vehicle. Staff will wear face coverings, gloves and maintain social distancing measures. Limited to one plate per person in attendance. First come, first served for the first 75 people.

Camp Napa School's Out Pop-Ups

9 AM - 4 PM
Give your kids a chance to get out and about and take a little break from the computer screen during non-school days! With modifications to ensure we are offering the safest space while still having loads of fun, our superstar staff will make sure your campers have the best time at Camp Napa.

Outdoor & Online Youth Sports

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in youth sports in a positive, safe, and fun environment. The program emphasizes skill development and fundamentals, through effective coaching techniques, and balancing competition with recreation. Preschool Programs

Little Rascals: Oct 6–June 10, 9am-12pm (Tu,Th)
Pre-Kindergarten: Oct 5–June 11, 9am-12pm (M,W,F)

If your little one likes laughter, games and fun then they will LOVE our preschool programs. Watch your child's self-esteem, confidence and creativity blossom through singing, art, stories, imagination and active games. Children will make “friends” with letters shapes, colors, numbers and their classmates through creative activities that focus on listening, logic and other cognitive and social skills. All preschoolers will be required to wear a mask. Space is limited!

Outdoor & Online Health and Wellness

We offer a variety of mind, body and fitness classes to meet your busy schedule. Our instructors know how to make fitness fun! Outdoor & Online Enrichment

Bocce Court Rentals

Fun for all ages. The game begins with pitching the pallina (the small white ball). Teams take turns rolling their bocce balls to get closest to the pallina, block their opponent or knock the opponent’s ball out of the way. The team with their bocce ball closest to the pallina scores one point. Play to 12 or 21 points.

Two courts are available to rent! Bocce equipment is provided and sanitized between each rental. Play limited to groups of 4 or less. Advance reservations required. $5 per hour. Register HERE.

Pickle Ball

Looking for something fun and social to play outdoors? Try Pickle Ball at the Las Flores Community Center Courts, 4300 Linda Vista Avenue. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn and can be a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Come join other players on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9am - 12 noon for weekly open play. Weekday play is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Napa Art Walk

Need to walk off that extra helping of turkey and mashed potatoes? Try the Napa Art Walk. You can learn more about the current exhibit and locations by using the Art Walk brochure or visit napaartwalk.org, then cast your vote for the People's Choice Award. Enhance your experience by downloading OtoCast on your phone to hear artist talk about their process and the art piece!

Napa is seeking up to 10 temporary art installations for the 2021-2023 Art Walk. This City-sponsored program aims to enhance Napa's quality of life by exhibiting original, high-quality, sculpture from regional artists. To respond to the call go HERE.

Ranger Programs

Dates and locations vary throughout the fall season.
Our Rangers will help you explore our city parks, learn about park history, local plants and the wildlife that the parks home. Programs focus on how to protect the ecosystem and wildlife habitat today and in the future.

National Family PJ Day

Saturday, November 14th All day
Do you need a reason to spend the day in your PJs? Well, you are in luck because it’s National Family PJ Day!! Post a photo of your family lounging around in pj attire and share with us at @napaparksandrec on both Facebook and Instagram!

Green Friday

Friday, November 27th
Black Friday not your thing? Parks Docent, John Futini, will lead a walking tour at Alston and Trancas Crossing Parks. Information on history of the land, and highlights of the local flora and fauna will be topics of discussion. Dress in weather appropriate outdoor gear, bring your mask, water and footwear that is comfortable for a moderate amount of walking. Limited to 10 people per hike. Please register HERE.

Virtual Ugly Sweater Contest

Submissions December 16 - December 18

This contest will consist of 5 categories. Most adorable, most colorful, beautifully tacky, most sparkle and most festive. Send your photos to [email protected] and tell us the category you are entering between December 16 - December 18, by 3 PM. Winners will be announced December 20th and receive a Parks and Recreation
holiday themed goodie bag!

Main Street Boat Dock

Napa Golf Course An 18-hole full service championship daily fee golf course with practice facilities consisting of an 8,500 square foot putting green, modest chipping green, and 22 individual stall driving range outfitted with synthetic mats.
