9/11 Memorial Services - 20th AnniversarySeptember 11, 2021 - 9/11 Memorial GardenJoin Napa Rotary at 11am to honor the heroes and victims of the attacks on 9/11. This is a free event, all members of the public are welcome.
Additionally, the Napa Interfaith Leader Council will host an event at 6pm. Different leaders from a variety of faiths including Muslim, Christian and Jewish faiths will come together in a unified voice for peace and compassion.

Napa County Coastal Clean Up DaySeptember 18, 9:00 AM - Noon Volunteers are needed to clean up Napa County’s streets & creeks! Coastal Cleanup Day is a statewide effort to clean trash and debris from beaches, bays, creeks, and rivers. 2021-2023 Napa Art Walk - Play!Now OpenThe theme for the seventh Napa Art Walk Exhibition is 'Play!'. Ten sculptures by seven artists were selected by a jury of professionals. An audio tour of the collection is available through the OtoCast app. This enables you to hear from the artists and develop a deeper understanding of their artwork. Ready to Make a Racket?Las Flores is now open to the public for scheduled activities! Sports passes to play drop-in badminton on Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM are available for $63 (10 visit pass) or $7 per visit. Drop-in passes can be at the Las Flores Community Center.
Sports passes are valid for drop-in volleyball and basketball. The gym is also open for weekday afternoon drop-in basketball for $1 per person.

It's Happening on the CourtsTennis and pickleball courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis from sunrise to sunset at Las Flores Community Center. Dedicated court time for pickleball is available Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8:30am - 12noon. Equipment is available to be borrowed during designated hours. Picnic Areas & PavilionsIt's a great time to be outdoors with family and friends. The City of Napa has 27 picnic areas including 3 picnic pavilions available for reservations. Many have playgrounds, ballfields and space nearby for the kiddos to run. For more information on locations and how to reserve your space go HERE.
Our buildings are also open. Come by and say hi! Volunteer led Pinochle, Mexican Train Dominoes, Bridge, Cribbage and Mah Jongg are being offered at the Senior Center. Both the Senior Center and Pelusi Building are available to rent for meetings and celebrations.

Get Your Playground Workout On!Did you know that children that have easy access to a playground are 5 times more likely to have a healthy weight than children that do not have access to playgrounds? The City of Napa is fortunate to have 33 playgrounds to visit. Use the Park Finder to find a playground near you or to explore a new one. And don’t forget to visit the newly remodeled Playground Fantastico – it’s amazing!

Air QualityTo help keep our community healthy and safe, there may be times that recreation programs are moved inside, cancelled or postponed due to poor air quality. Our staff will be monitoring the Air Quality Index (AQI) daily from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and will inform you if any programs are cancelled or postponed. Your safety is our highest priority.
