Bay Friendly Garden Tour

Bay-Friendly Garden Tour

Napa Valley’s seventh Bay-Friendly Garden Tour takes place this Sunday, May 20 from 10 am to 4 pm, as nine beautiful resource-efficient Napa gardens showcase natural techniques that reduce waste and pollution.

Participants must purchase a Tour Guide Brochure which acts as the entrance ticket for all nine gardens.  Featuring garden descriptions and addresses, map, workshop locations, and other special instructions, the brochure costs $5 for each adult. The event is free for children. In-person sales are available at the Napa County Resource Conservation District (RCD) office, 1303 Jefferson Street, Suite 500B, through today - Friday, May 18. On tour day itself, brochures may be purchased in Napa at Fire Station #3, 2000 Trower Avenue.
This year’s tour is once again sponsored by the City of Napa, Napa County RCD, and UC Master Gardeners. It is inspired by Bay-Friendly Landscaping & Gardening, a program of ReScape California (, a nonprofit coalition of home gardeners, landscape professionals, and local governments that promotes practices that work in harmony with local watersheds. Five of the gardens on this tour were designed or installed by Bay-Friendly Qualified Professionals.
For more details on the tour, visit or call (707) 252-4189 ext. 3117.
