Welcome to the GPAC Quick Hits Newsletter!

This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

General Plan Update - Behind The Scenes

GPAC Members Stephen Cuddy and Bernie Narvaez met with Planning Staff this week to brainstorm on ideas, speakers, and dates for an upcoming "Speaker Series" on Innovative Housing and Climate Change. More details to come!

Planning Staff will also hosted a "train the trainers" workshops on Friday to assist community liaisons with talking points about the General Plan Update.

Planning Staff also had the opportunity to talk about the General Plan with  Coldwell Banker - Brokers of the Valley and the Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Panel this week.

A discussion about the General Plan Update will also be on the agenda at the May 20 meeting of the Napa County Democrats. Meeting details coming soon! If you know of any groups or organizations interested in discussing the General Plan Update, email me!
