General Plan Update - Behind The Scenes

Next Steps: Planning Staff met with the Consultant Team to prepare for the upcoming Alternatives Phase. The Consultant Team will synthesize input from workshops, surveys, feedback from PC/Council, and Stakeholder Meetings (early June) into Visions, Themes, and Guiding Principles. A GPAC Brainstorming Meeting will be held to discuss options for the Alternatives. Afterwards, public outreach will commence on the Alternatives options prior to the GPAC reconvening to make recommendations to the Planning Commission.

Stakeholder Meetings: Community Development Staff is finalizing the list of Community Stakeholders to participate in a two-day workshop tentatively scheduled for June 10 & 11. More details to come!

GPAC members Shinnamon, Narvaez, Siegel, and Glaser will be meeting with Community Development Staff this week to continue discussions on GPAC activities and workshop ideas in the lead-up to the Alternatives Phase. More details to come!
