Welcome to the GPAC Quick Hits Newsletter!

This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

The City's Public Works Department will be providing the City Council with a report on the status of the City's Sustainability Plan at the September 3rd City Council meeting (originally planned for August 20).

General Plan Update - Behind The Scenes


General Plan Update - Fall Schedule
Staff is working with the Consultant Team to finalize a rough schedule through the end of the year. Formal GPAC Meetings are set for August 26, September 23, and October 28. Additional dates for workshops, outreach events, and educational opportunities are forthcoming. Stay tuned!
