Welcome to the GPAC Quick Hits Newsletter!

This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

August 26 GPAC Meeting
& City Hall Facilities Project Update


GPAC Meeting

Staff is finalizing the meeting agenda for the August 26 GPAC meeting. Dyett & Bhatia, the City’s General Plan Update Consultant, will lead a discussion on formation of the Guiding Principles and an introduction of Land Use and Transportation Alternatives. The full agenda packet will be delivered via email on Wednesday, August 21.


Public Safety & City Hall Facilities Project Update

As part of the City's Stakeholder Engagement process, the City Hall Facilities Project Team is presenting an overview of the project to various Boards, Commissions, and at Community Events. Prior to the GPAC meeting on August 26, the Project Team will present the latest information on the project at 5PM in the City Council Chambers. The presentation is open to the public and feedback will assist the Project Team ahead of their next report to City Council on September 17.

City of Napa Sustainability Plan

UPDATE!

The City's Public Works Department will be providing the City Council with a report on the status of the City's Sustainability Plan at the September 3rd City Council meeting (originally planned for August 20).
