Welcome to the GPAC Quick Hits Newsletter!

This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

In a follow-up to the report in last week's Newsletter regarding the benefits of an Urban Tree Canopy, below are a series of reports released this week from NPR on Heat & Health in American Cities.
