Before I Die...

GPAC Member Deborah Macdonald, who also serves as Board Chair of Collabria Care, shares news of this art installation coming to Napa in conjunction with Collabria Care's 40th Anniversary!

"Before I Die..." is a global art project that invites people to reflect upon their mortality and consider things which matter most.

Replicated over 5,000 times across the world, Collabria Care brings the project to Veteran's Park in Downtown Napa from October 26 through November 9!

Vision Zero

GPAC Member Patrick Band shares information on Bay Area initiatives to increase traffic safety through the "Vision Zero Plan". The intent of Vision Zero is to eliminate all traffic fatalities and major injuries by treating all collisions as preventable - and then planning and implementing changes to make that happen.

Climate of Action Forum

The Democrats of Napa County will host a "Climate of Action" forum on Saturday, October 12. Hear from over a dozen experts about bold solutions for climate change and learn everyday actions that can lead the efforts to win the battle against climate change! Tickets begin at $45.

Updates from Napa Valley Transit Authority

Napa Countywide Bicycle Plan

NVTA has recently announced that the Napa Countywide Bicycle Plan draft is available on their website. The Plan and environmental documents are scheduled to go before the NVTA Board for adoption at their October 23 meeting.

Countywide Transit Plan (CTP)

NVTA has launched an update of the Countywide Transportation Plan to create a shared vision for 2045. The Plan will incorporate ideas from residents and jurisdictions across Napa County.
