This newsletter is intended to provide the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) periodic updates on the General Plan Update process, upcoming meetings, and activities. It is also a way for GPAC Members and Planning Staff to share articles and ideas on topics of interest and trends related to community planning.

SB2 Planning Grant for Housing
This week, the City Council adopted a Resolution authorizing submittal of an application to the California State Department of Housing & Community Development (HCD) for up to $310,000 in funding under the SB2 Planning Grants Program.
The City is proposing utilizing the funds for a Housing Opportunities Inventory and Napa's partnership in an Accessory Dwelling Unit "One-Stop Shop" in conjunction with the North Bay ADU Project.
Applications accepted through November 30. More to come!
City Hall Facilities Project Updates
Upcoming Meetings & Workshops
The City Hall Facilities Project Team will be reporting back to City Council at the November 19 City Council meeting.
Community Workshops have been scheduled for Wednesday, December 11.

General Plan Update - Behind The Scenes
Regional Housing Needs Update Planning Staff participated in a meeting with community leaders from across Napa County to consider a Sub-Regional Approach to our next Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) which will shape the City's next Housing Element Update.
