About Darlene Colaso
Darlene joined the City of Napa in April 2013. She has over 30 years of HR generalist experience with the last 13 years in municipal government administration.
As someone who believes that every employee offers a unique perspective to the City of Napa, Darlene is focused on positive, open and honest communications, with a focus on quality employee relations. She aims to assist the City’s various departments by providing excellent human resource management services with a focus on an exceptional level of HR customer service. Darlene is an approachable department leader who welcomes your comments, questions and/or concerns regarding the Human Resources Department.
She holds a Juris Doctor from John F. Kennedy University School of Law and she is a WOSH (Worker Occupational Safety & Health) Specialist, as certified by the University of California at Berkeley. She also holds certification (IPMA-SCP) from the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR), as a Senior Certified Professional.
